1) Over The Shoulder Baby Holder™ has two times the amount of padding on the parent's shoulder, and around the baby's head and legs. It's more expensive to manufacture, but the quality shows.
2) Our batting is paneled or sewn down; it cannot slip inside the rail. Sewing the batting down also prevents it from bunching up and twisting while wearing, or during washing.
3) Our batting is flame-retardant. This is not an added chemical that will wash out. Other slings have a resin added that makes it easier to cut and sew, but it is highly flammable and allergenic. Not having our batting treated with this resin is also much softer to the touch and does not "mat" down.
4) Our side rails are sewn together over the shoulder pillow; this doubles our already plush padding and prevents the sides from falling down toward mom's elbows or pressing into her neck, thus keeping the whole sling in better proportion for the wearer.
5) We have a safety ring in the tail of our sling. This prevents the sling from coming apart. The tail on our sling cannot slip out, even when worn at maximum length. The tail on other slings can easily slip through the rings when worn at maximum length.

We have four sizes of slings available depending on your height and weight:
Petite (S) is for someone truly under 5' tall and 70 to
120 pounds.
Regular (M) is for someone from 110 to 190 pounds.
Long (L) is for someone from 140 to 250 pounds, or over 5'10"
tall.
Extra Long is for those over 250 pounds.
